Lease Information 1. Checking Availability To see if any apartments are vacant, please call our information line at 613-263-0771 between 9am and 6pm. 2. Seeing An Apartment We show apartments on weekends and evenings, and on short notice. Please make an appointment by calling our superindendent at the number listed on our information line if you wish to see a unit. We ask that you be considerate; if you have made an appointment but cannot make it, please let us know! 3. Lease Applications If you have decided that you wish to rent an apartment, you will be required to fill out an application form, which you will receive from the superindendent after you have toured an apartment. Based on the application, we check work and landlord references, as well as perform a credit check. You may return your form by fax at 613-820-1364 or drop it off at the superindendent's office at 2805 Richmond Road, apartment #10. Please give us a call two to three days after submitting your application form if we have not gotten back in touch with you. A clearly and fully completed application can be approved the same day. 4. Once Your Application is Approved When you have been approved for an apartment, we will contact you with the telephone number of our representative who will prepare the lease and other documents. When you sign the lease, you will be expected to supply the last month's rent. Also, when picking up your keys, you must provide the first month's rent in cash or certified cheque. If the date of signing the lease and occupancy are withing two weeks, then you can supply both certified cheques or cash at the same time. We will not hold apartments; we continue showing unoccupied apartments until a lease is signed. Thank you for your interest! |
