About the SCA
The Southpointe Community Association (SCA) is a volunteer organization
staffed by and serving the residents of the community. It is bordered
on the north by Fallowfield Road and the VIA rail line, on the
south by Strandherd Dr., on the east by Merivale Rd. (south of
Fallowfield Dr. to where it meets Prince of Wales and Prince of
Wales Drive south to where it meets the future Strandherd Drive
extension. The SCA Executive Committee is dedicated to organizing
activities, events and forums that will, in the end, enrich the
lives of all our member households.
Geography
The
Southpointe Community Association represents the South Nepean
communities of Longfields, Davidson Heights, Rideaucrest, Chapman
Mills and Havenlea. It is a community within the City
of Ottawa,
which is in the Province
of Ontario, Canada.
The community is bordered on the north by Fallowfield Road (Regional
Road 12) and the VIA rail line. It is bordered on the west by Greenbank
Road and the CN rail line. It is bordered to the south by Strandherd
Drive. The eastern border is Merivale Road south of Fallowfield
Road to where it meets Prince of Wales Drive (old Highway 16) and
Prince of Wales Drive south to where it meets the future Strandherd
Drive extension.

Transit 
The 71,73,
and 77 are peak period express route
that go all the way downtown in the morning, ending at Hurdman
Station, and
come back in the evening. The 119,
170, 173, 176, ,181, 186 all
provide service to the Southpointe Community. These give us
better
bus access to Barrhaven locations such as the Market Place
Mall,
the Barrhaven Mall and Walter Baker Sports Centre.
Additionally, the 95 serves the Fallowfield Transit Station
this allows for frequent and quick travel to downtown.
Green signifies that the route is express fare ($3.50) and runs
only during peak periods.
Red signifies that the route is regular fare ($2.50) and only runs
during peak periods.
Gray signifies that the route is regular fare ($2.20) and runs
less frequently.
Black signifies that the route is regulare fare ($2.50) and runs
regularly.
