Home Computer Hand-Holding

Afraid to turn your computer on?

You just bought a computer. You know you should get one for the kids to use.

There's just one small problem ... You don't know what to do next.

We can help.

At Home-Computer Hand-Holding we've designed a lesson-plan for complete novices, and we'll teach it to you ... in your own home, on your own computer, at your own pace ... for a reasonable hourly rate.

You'll learn:

  • what happens when you turn on your computer
  • what kind of software you need, and how to make it work
  • what all those abbreviations mean (DOS, RAM, CD-ROM, Meg)
  • what's so great about Windows 95, and whether you really need it on your computer
  • how to sign up with the local freenet and send electronic mail to your friends around the world, or get onto the Internet and see what all the fuss is about
  • how to look after your computer now that you've bought it (boot disks, back-ups, virus-checks), and
  • how to stay at least 2 steps ahead of your kids !
