Calao, love, compassion

inspired by African symbols

Calao is a celestial bird who brings messages and teachings to humanity in the form of symbols
(see, the symbol located at the top of the painting).

Below the first symbol, in the centre of the canvas is a cosmic spiral

Then, an African symbol of love: two beings connected by their heart and sex

At the bottom, a symbol of compassion: A sick human being
is supported and cared for by others.

Fine feminine garment from the T'ang dynasty

Inspired by a Haiku created by Ryokan who compared the beauty of red autumn leaves

to the refined robes worn by some women of the T'ang dynasty.

The colors recall the warm, creative, luxurious and erotic aspects of the T'ang dynasty

Friend in goodness

"It is by recognizing the friend within you, your own spirit, that liberation is attained"

 Huineng (Eno)

No being is closer to us than our own spirit.

Knowing it becomes possible through the silence of meditation.

and then remain comfortable,
